As a complement to our Pro Bono Forum, PILI launched the Law School Pro Bono & Public Interest Law Roundtable program to bring together law school pro bono and public interest law faculty and staff from around Illinois. The Law School Pro Bono & Public Interest Law Roundtable provides law school pro bono and public interest law faculty and staff with an opportunity to network, share information about their programs and to coordinate their efforts across Illinois.
PILI will host a Law School Pro Bono Roundtable in 2012. Check back for more details soon!

Past Law School Pro Bono Forums
In 2010, PILI's Law School Pro Bono & Public Interest Law Roundtable was held on November 18th at McDermott, Will & Emery LLP. Each Illinois law school was invited to send up to five representatives to this program. The representatives included members of the law school faculty or staff involved in pro bono and public interest law at the law school along and law students involved in the school's pro bono and public interest law efforts. The first-ever Law School Pro Bono & Public Interest Law Roundtable was held on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 with every law school in the state participating, including several schools from states boarding Illinois. PILI anticipates hosting another Roundtable in 2010. We also anticipate developing additional programming in the next year to include law school clinical programs. Click here to view the agenda.
