2010 Annual "Celebrating Pro Bono" Reception

PILI's 2010" Celebrating Pro Bono" Annual Reception was held at The Ivy Room at Tree Studios on Thursday, June 17th. The Honorable Dorothy Kirie Kinnaird, Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division
of the Circuit Court of Cook County, shared welcoming remarks with over 200 attendees from law firms, corporations, and legal aid and public interest agencies. PILI Interns and Fellows and PILI Alumni were also among the guests in attendance.

2009 Annual "Celebrating Pro Bono" Reception

PILI's 2009 "Celebrating Pro Bono" Annual Reception was held on Thursday, June 11th at the Harold Washington Library's Winter Garden Room. This year's reception marked the 10th Anniversary of PILI's establishment of its Pro Bono Initiative.  Illinois Appellate Court Justice Sheila O'Brien was our distinguished guest and welcoming speaker.

2008 Annual "Celebrating Pro Bono" Reception

In 2008, PILI's "Celebrating Pro Bono" Annual Reception was held on Tuesday, June 10th at the Harold Washington Library's Winter Garden Room. Illinois Supreme Court Justice Thomas L. Kilbride, a former legal aid attorney and advocate for pro bono legal services, was the distinguished guest speaker. Pro bono leaders from law firms and corporations were joined by Class of 2008 PILI Interns and Fellows and representatives from many of Illinois' public interest law organizations.

2007 Annual "Celebrating Pro Bono" Reception

In 2007, PILI's annual "Celebrating Pro Bono" reception was held on Tuesday, June 5th at the Harold Washington Library's Winter Garden Room. Approximately 250 guests attended the event from law firms and corporations, with 40 legal aid and public interest law organizations represented and over 40 2007 PILI Interns and Fellows also in attendance.
